This spring we didn't have a lot of time for photography. We did end up going for a couple of walks and here are some encounters we had.

Early on, we had some shy birds that were starting to become more active.

The Blankaart

When you want to see some gorgeous nature, the Blankaart is the place to be. Also this year, there are many birds and they show themselves very close in the reed beds.

Freshly cut grass is one of the best attractions for birds of prey. This harrier was flying around in the hope of finding some prey, but unfortunately for him, there was nothing to be found.

New beginnings

This spring also marks a new beginning for us. We are expecting a new family member in the coming months and we are very excited about it. We can't wait to meet our little one and see how they will grow and develop.
